Ladies Christmas Cheer Fundraiser 11 December

As the course was closed, our six teams took part in a sports quiz and guessing the Christmas song, hosted by Jean Robinson and Joan Kettles, instead of golf. Members of the winning team might be seen on the course sporting their new Glenmuir woolly hats!

Two large and two small hampers were expertly put together by Carol Thomson from donations by all members of the Ladies Committee.  The hampers were raffled and the net proceeds of the day will go to our chosen charity Canine Partners. 

When taking Carol's photo we didn't realise a Christmas tree was so strategically placed!

The day itself raised £68 for the charity. Erin of the Tee Room donated the large hamper she won to a second raffle draw with tickets purchased from customers of the Tee Room. The draw took place on Sunday 20 December with Margaret Palmer winning from Dunning village.  A further £73 was raised from this raffle.

This is a great start to our fundraising for the coming season.  Thanks to everyone for your donations and wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
